Elysia A team of experienced battery experts developing innovative software solutions are currently looking for a Chief / Principal Battery Application Engineer. The successful candidate will combine and hone expertise in battery systems, modelling, and data analytics with industry knowledge to close the gap between products and the customer needs. The Chief / Principal Battery Application Engineer Will- Work closely with the product development teams to prioritise, define, and evolve product vision, based on customer feedback and interactions; be the voice of the customer, from a technical perspective.
- Manage customer delivery plans to ensure on-time delivery of customer milestones.
- Drive and take ownership of end-to-end technical delivery for customer onboarding; identify and resolve issues and risks.
- Build up the processes for automating data quality reviews and the validation of customer datasets applied to algorithms and analytics functions.
- Lead the interaction with existing and prospective customers, listen to customer requirements, and oversee the development of Proof of Concepts and Demos.
- PhD or Master’s degree in a relevant field.
- Demonstrable industrial or academic experience in modelling battery systems.
- Experience line managing technical teams.
- Proven experience in the battery domain, including working with battery data from lab, manufacturing, and in-field.
- Experience working with customers and stakeholders (internal or external), with strong technical communication and teamworking skills.
