Who we are looking for:
A data whisperer who really understands data migrations, integrations to D365 and other similar SaaS applications.

Simply put Data is the lifeblood of many digital transformations and at Kerv Digital we recognise the vital importance of this service for customers. Working within our specialist Data & AI Enablement capability, you’ll have end-to-end experience of delivering a number of Enterprise solution data migrations (D365 CRM, BC) from small to large-scale within an agile delivery model; working in a hands-on and solution lead capacity.

Leveraging your deep hands-on experience of all things Data, you will be helping to quoting, design, provide assurance and oversight of delivery of data migration & integration workstreams at Kerv Digital; ensuring that requirements are defined in sufficient detail from presales and discovery teams.

Starting off in a hands-on capacity, you will be a guardian for Technical Excellence for Data Migration/Integrations.

All backgrounds will always be considered and experience here is far more important.

Required Experience:

• Requirements gathering (ETL, BI)
o Identifying through workshops
o Elaborate user stories and refining to an Engineer-friendly technical approach
o Documentation of designs with an industry-recognised form such as ER, UML, Archimate or Erwin
• Experience of managing priorities on multiple projects / workstreams
• Working in an agile landscape to making technical decisions/recommendations where there is uncertainty
• Stakeholder management and technical team interaction (internal, external and 3rd party)
• 7+ years experience of Consulting, Nonprofit, Government or Financial Services
• 5+ years experience of D365 CRM and hands-on skills with ETL tools.
• Creating mapping specifications between legacy and CRM, ERP, Finance applications
• Integration to D365, Dataverse solutions or other SaaS applications
• Creation of fault-tolerant data ingestion pipelines in SSIS/ KWS / Data Factory / data flows using Linked Services, Integration Datasets
• Extracting data from a variety of sources including SQL databases, document databases, graph databases, web APIs, etc.
• Building dashboards to reconcile migrated data

• Migration of data from Salesforce, Care NG, Raisers Edge, Lotus Notes, dotdigital, Hubspot, Faststats, Enthuse, GoFundMe, Everyday Hero, Memory Giving, Paypal, World Pay, Giftaid processors, JustGiving
• Large scale data warehouse design
o Conceptual architecture
o Logical architecture
o Physical architecture
o ETL/ELT best practise approaches to monitoring and error-handling
• Understanding of kimball data-modelling techniques
• Azure data certifications
• Azure Synapse: Synapse-link, on-demand SQL engine, dedicated SQL pool
• Fabric, Power BI, DAX, data flows
• Writing unit tests, git Version control
• Awareness of reliability patterns in ETL pipelines
• Use of python in Jupyter notebooks for data processing
• Azure storage technologies and cost/performance characteristics
• Techniques and tools for sanitizing data prior to use
• Data Governance tools (e.g. Microsoft Purview)
