Are you passionate about supporting children and young people with their mental health? If so, we at Darlington CAMHS want to hear from you
We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, professional, and compassionate Band 6 CAMHS Clinician to join our community team.
The successful candidate will join our specialist multi-disciplinary team whose aim is to provide holistic, recovery promoting, person-centred care to children and young people who are experiencing a range of mental health conditions. We also work alongside children and young people who have been diagnosed with neurodevelopmental conditions and who need subsequent mental health support.
We pride ourselves on being leaders in delivering high quality compassionate care whilst protecting and promoting staff wellbeing and development.
Nursing applicants should already hold NMC registration and have successfully completed their preceptorship programme. Newly qualified Nurses or those due to qualify will be recruited via a separate process.
Evidence of Continuing Professional Development.
Key skills in literacy, numeracy and ITQ level 2 (or equivalent)
Post-graduate qualification in a relevant area (within agreed timescale)
CAMHS Degree
Recognised training in Facilitation of Parenting Groups
Significant experience working with children and young people with mental ill health in a community setting.
Demonstrable knowledge to post-graduate level of evidence-based practice in caring for children and young people in the designated field.
Provide effective clinical supervision, teaching, training and assessing in clinical practice.
