We are looking for an Accounts Assistant who is looking to take the next step in their career. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, organised, and self-motivated who can support the Finance function. You'll be given opportunity to learn from your peers and study towards AAT qualifications to really kick start your professional development. Duties of Accounts Assistant: Posting of supplier invoices both for approval and onto the ledger Raising PO's for approval and placing orders with suppliers Ensuring purchase orders are complete with all required reporting information prior to invoicing. Supporting the Sales Ledger where required Matching purchase invoices Assisting with the weekly payment run and issuing remittances Managing of the department inboxes Reconciling supplier & intercompany statements on a weekly basis Updating intercompany systems as orders are placed and invoiced Supporting the Management Accountant where required Essential: Previous experience in a purchase ledger or similar finance role. Good attention to detail and accuracy in data entry. Strong organizsational and time management skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively
