WSP is seeking a Maritime Senior Structural Engineer to join the Port & Maritime team based in the UK.
As part of the team, you will have an opportunity to complement the wide experience of a highly knowledgeable and dynamic team of Maritime experts based in the UK and across the globe.
You will be working alongside senior team members contributing to the technical delivery of a wide range of UK based and international projects for a variety of clients, ranging from local authorities to private clients and international terminal operators. You will have the opportunity to provide input to all stages of the project lifecycle, from inception through design and construction, to demolition, recycling, and reuse.
You will be working closely with Early Career Professionals (ECPs) in Maritime team providing guidance and leading the delivery of design calculations, technical specifications, reports, and other deliverables in accordance with Eurocodes, international standards, and client requirements.
Also, our overseas projects often provide opportunities to travel, and you may be required to travel for short periods of time. Have a BEng/ MEng in Civil Engineering or similar/related qualification
A background in undertaking the design and analysis for maritime and associated structures
Knowledge of undertaking inspections, surveys and rehabilitation assignments
Are experienced in using engineering software (i.e., LUSAS, STAAD Pro, SAP2000, Robot, WALLAP, TEDDS, AutoCAD etc.)
Check and produce quality technical outputs and solutions
Successfully lead a small team or medium sized project and task for a multi-disciplinary project
Have proficient use of MS office-based software
