Turner & Townsend is currently recruiting for Senior Project Managers to join our Life Science Real Estate Team.
With a market leading client base and the opportunity to take the lead on immediate commissions, this is an exciting time to join the business unit and grow a career with Turner & Townsend.
We have brought our brightest minds together to respond to our client's Project and Programme management objectives.
As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for:

Leading and managing complex technology and innovation projects in the life sciences sector, at the enabling stage (could include laboratories, data centres, biotech facilities, etc.)
Developing and implementing project strategies, plans and budgets
Establishing and maintaining effective processes and systems to be utilised throughout the project
Monitoring and reporting on project progress and other performance indicators
Managing and mitigating risks and issues
Preparing and delivering written project communication materials
Preparing and presenting formal project progress and other reports
Managing and coordinating the client, contractors and designers
Managing and updating key information into the Turner & Townsend internal database

Relevant qualification (project management or construction management)
Ideally NEC accredited Project Manager
Good knowledge of construction industry themes such as MMC, Net Zero Carbon and Digital agenda
Good knowledge of project lifecycle and business case approvals process
Ideally experience of working on technology / innovation projects
Extensive knowledge of and experience in large scale technology and innovation projects in the life sciences sector (8 years)
Experience of master planning/strategic estate development and capital project planning for business case compilation is desirable.
Detailed experience of NEC contract administration is desirable
Demonstrable experience in client-facing roles at all levels (including Directors of Technology/Strategy and Planning/Capital Development to stakeholders and end-users)
