Join Our Team as an Assistant Design Manager Location: London/South Hours: 40 hours per week Note: We are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship for this role. Your Role and Responsibilities As an Assistant Design Manager with the Kier Places team, you will play a vital role in delivering a professional, comprehensive, and sustainable design service throughout all delivery stages. Your daily tasks will include: Assisting in reviewing design information and contractor-designed packages at all RIBA Stages. Supporting the establishment of the design team and aligning scope and accountabilities. Identifying, recording, and mitigating design and project risks and opportunities. Supporting pricing assumptions to align with design development. Providing information and monitoring activities to ensure construction aligns with approved designs. What We’re Looking For This role is perfect for you if: You have a minimum of HND/HNC/T Level or equivalent (desirable). You possess a solid understanding of the technical aspects of construction, including the RIBA plan of work and Building Regulations. You have excellent communication skills and thrive both independently and as part of a team. You hold a full driving license (does not need to be UK-specific).
