Good Afternoon, I am currently representing Hackney Council, who are offering an initial temporary contract for a period of 3-6 months with a view to be extended or offered a permanent position for the right candidate at a rate which is negotiable dependent upon experience We are looking for a Children’s Rights Officer this role will be: Hybrid E8 1DY The right candidate will:

  • As a Children’s Rights Officer, you will be a lead advocate for children and young people both in care and subject to Child Protection Plans
  • Undertake Return Home Interviews
  • Provide specific safety planning and input around sexual harm and exploitation.
  • Proactive and committed,
  • You will bring a comprehensive knowledge and skill-base to the challenge of advocating for the most vulnerable children and young people using your skills, empathy and understanding.
  • You will promote children’s rights throughout Hackney.
