SQL Developer/BI Developer East Kilbride (Hybrid 2/3 days in the office)
Nine Twenty Technology are currently working with a leading developer of insolvency software solutions & they are currently looking for a SQL Developer/Power BI Developer to join their team here in Glasgow. Managing and developing SQL server versions from 2016 to 2022
Ensure performance, security, and availability of databases
Experience with SQL queries, scripting, stored procedures, functions
Identifying and resolving performance issues, bottlenecks, and optimizing queries
Carry out SQL data management requests and provide database support for clients
Designing and delivering of a variety of business intelligence and reporting solutions using both MS SQL and modern (BI) tools, technologies and methods.
Perform data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform business decisions

Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant degree
Proven years of experience as an SQL Developer or similar role
A solid understanding of database security and data protection
Hands-on experience with Performance Tuning and Optimization using native monitoring and troubleshooting tools
Report and Dashboard development experience with Power BI, showcasing a good understanding of DAX and Power Query
Experience with scripting languages (PowerShell preferred)
