Our team is expanding and we are looking for a Product Specialist – Media Manufacturing in our UK business, Cherwell Laboratories.

Cherwell, part of the Analytichem group is a leading provider of high-quality prepared media for microbiology, biotechnology, and life sciences industries. Our commitment to excellence and innovation has positioned us as a trusted partner for laboratories and research facilities worldwide.

The Product Specialist – Media Manufacturing role is key in developing our position as experts in our field of cleanroom microbiology and specifically environmental monitoring. Reporting to the Director of Sales & Marketing, the role will contribute to the continued growth of our business by supporting all our direct sales activities with technical advice.

Be the product and application knowledge expert within Cherwell for Redipor prepared media and other products within the portfolio
Provide technical advice and support within the business, and all customers and partners on Cherwell’s range of products in media and equipment including a commercial awareness of pricing and client usage.
PharMIG, PHSS, NHS QA groups, joining at least 1 committee and utilise this network for conferences and marketing when appropriate.
Monitor industry trends and developments to assist with future product development and direction.
Contribute to the general technical knowledge base within the business by building in depth product knowledge and facilitating training and knowledge sharing.
Contribute to marketing material, including website content, newsletter articles, press releases and blog with technical writing and input.
Work with suppliers where needed to understand product development and availability.

Professional & personable – confidence in presenting to groups and building relationships
Industry experience – demonstrate a knowledge of pharma industry, environmental microbiology and GMP
Flexible – some overseas travel and overnights will be necessary
Other experience– the successful candidate should also have some commercial experience/awareness, have some experience or knowledge of microbiological media, and have experience of writing technical content.

Adaptable – developing our products, packaging, and processes to meet our customer needs alongside supporting development for our colleagues
