Project Manager – Network Rail Station Upgrades, Bridges & Structures up to £40m – Birmingham & Exeter

Project Manager – Network Rail Frameworks, Bridges and Structures – Civil Rail – Birmingham then Exeter
£A Major Civil Rail Main Contractor is looking for a Project Manager to join their Rail sector, overseeing Civil Rail Projects in Birmingham for 6 months then moving down to Exeter, mainly Station Upgrades but other projects include Network Rail Frameworks from £15-£40m, Bridges and Structures.
The Project Manager will require knowledge of tendering as well as project delivery experience within the Civil Rail Environment.
Responsible for the business results of the project
Project organisation and definition and regulation of responsibilities
Communicate all project requirements to the project team
Organize the flow of information between the whole integrated project team members and third parties
Implement the management system within the project team
Lead HSQE management
Approve Project IMS Plan and appoint duties
Evaluate opportunities and risks
Organise planning management
Cooperate in the awarding of contracts to subcontractors and suppliers
Contract management and supervision of project progress
Responsible for project controlling
Change management process
Represent the project to internal stakeholders with periodic commercial and delivery reporting
Previous experience as a Project Manager on Civil Rail projects
Project Management experience
