Slough Berkshire, United Kingdom myGwork - LGBTQ+ Business Community Full time

This job is with Skyscanner, an inclusive employer and a member of myGwork – the largest global platform for the LGBTQ+ business community. Please do not contact the recruiter directly. About Skyscanner Everyone loves travelling, but planning is not without its challenges . That's why we've spent 20 years building tools that turn travel-planning chaos into a breeze. Today, around 100 million travellers count on us every month to skip the whole "47 browser tabs open" phase and find flights, cars, and hotels quickly and easily . Joining Skyscanner means becoming part of a global brand that's striving to become the planet's go-to travel hack accessible for all . Our vision? To be the world's number one travel ally. (Ambitious? Yes, but, hey, that's what got us here) About The Role (Hybrid) We're hiring a Director, People Partner to raise the bar for strategic and human-centred partnerships across Skyscanner. From org design and workforce planning to performance, succession and culture, you'll lead the HRBP strategy, setting standards and unblocking the complex issues with informed judgment. You'll directly partner with our executives while leading People Partners, who each support specific business areas and their leadership teams. You can be based in Glasgow, Edinburgh, Barcelona or London, where we adopt a hybrid working policy of working in the office twice a week. What You'll Be Doing Set the HRBP strategy: Co-create and deliver a People Partnering strategy aligned to business priorities and our traveller-first mission. Lead & grow the team: Coach and develop a high-performing group of People Partners, building a strong craft community and clear standards for exec-level support. Be a strategic partner to Execs: Build solid relationships with executives while enabling the People Partners to be a trusted advisor to their Execs and leadership teams. Drive organisational design & workforce planning: Facilitate organisational reviews, capability mapping, and scenario planning with Finance to ensure we have the right people in the right place at the right time. Elevate performance, growth & succession: Land performance cycles, career frameworks and succession plans; turn feedback and data into targeted growth actions for leaders and teams. Steer change & culture: Lead people-centric change and translate engagement insights into action. Decide with data: Partner with People Analytics and People Ops to track org health, DEI, attrition and productivity; tell compelling data stories that move decisions forward. About You Seasoned people leader: You've led HRBP/People Partner teams in fast-paced, product-led or matrixed organisations and know how to set strategy. Exec-level influencer: You partner with senior leaders with clarity and empathy. Org design & change expert: You bring depth in org effectiveness, workforce planning and change management, and you communicate complexity. Data-driven & outcomes obsessed: You love metrics and experiments as much as stories; you translate insights into action (and action into measurable impact). Operator with range: From talent strategy to employee-relations risk, you're comfortable setting direction and rolling up sleeves to get things done right. Global mindset: You're comfortable working with diverse cultures and mindsets, making pragmatic and scalable choices for a distributed and hybrid workforce. What It's Like Here We are the real deal - no corporate gloss, no empty promises. Just a team of genuinely curious, caring humans , building things that help travellers explore the world a little easier . Skyscanner is made up of brilliant humans from every corner of the world. We believe travel makes the world better - and that the same is true of our diverse teams. We're proud to be an equal opportunities employer and are committed to building an inclusive workplace where everyone can thrive and products that are accessible to all . Sound like your kind of adventure? Apply now and help us shape the future of travel. We're committed to ensuring our application and recruitment processes are inclusive and accessible to everyone. If you require any reasonable adjustments or accommodations for interviews, and/or wish to apply under the Disability Confident scheme, please let your recruiter know. If you'd like more information on any of our policies, such as hybrid working or Parental Leave policies (typically we pay a minimum of 24 weeks birth parent/maternity leave globally), our recruitment team can provide more information on these.
