Appian Developer

Responsibilities:

1. Appian Development: Develop and maintain Appian applications, including process models, user interfaces, and integrations, using Appian's low-code platform.
2. Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather and document project requirements.
3. Solution Design: Design and architect Appian solutions that meet business needs, ensuring scalability, performance, and maintainability.
4. Integration: Build and maintain integrations with external systems, databases, and third-party applications using Appian Integration features.
5. Testing and Quality Assurance: Perform unit testing, integration testing, and assist in user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure the quality and reliability of applications.
6. Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve technical issues, bugs, and performance bottlenecks in Appian applications.
7. Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of Appian solutions, including design specifications, user manuals, and technical documentation.
8. Best Practices: Stay up-to-date with Appian best practices and industry trends to ensure the adoption of the latest technologies and methodologies.
9. Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, project managers, and quality assurance teams, to deliver successful projects.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in Appian development.
• Appian certification(s) preferred.
• Strong knowledge of BPM concepts and methodologies.
• Proficiency in designing and developing complex Appian solutions.
• Experience with Appian Integration features and REST/SOAP web services.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
• Knowledge of software development best practices and methodologies.
