Facilities Engineer
Location: Fulwood Hall Hospital, Preston
5 hours per week, Full-time
Salary: Depending on experience + Benefits
Fulwood Hall Hospital was opened as a purpose built facility in 1986. In 2009 the hospital completed a £9m pound investment to refurbish and expand the site, making it the largest independent hospital in Lancashire and one of the largest in the north of England.
The hospital has six consulting rooms supported by a fully equipped outpatient treatment room, a pre-assessment unit for screening and assessing patients prior to surgery as well as modern imaging facilities and a brand new physio and sports therapy department including gymnasium.
We currently have a great opportunity for a Facilities Engineer to join our team at Fulwood Hall Hospital, based in Preston.
Ensure legal compliance by following planned preventative maintenance schedules and policies along with helping to develop and assist with any required changes.
Provide Engineering Maintenance and breakdown support to enable the continuous operation of the hospital.
Report directly to the Engineering manager and support in carrying out their role.
Occasionally working outside the hospital working hours to provide access for contractors and carry out essential maintenance. You may be required to help out at on other sites in the North West.
Understanding and the willingness to train in the Legionella prevention requirements within hospital buildings.
Willingness to attend training vital to carrying out and developing your role within the hospital.
Previous Hospital Facilities experience is desirable
