Although the role is based within an Energy/Engineering environment you do not need that industry experience. The company are happy to train you on the technical side but what they hope you will bring is an engaging teaching and training manner and style.

Join our dynamic team in the energy sector, focusing on pipeline and terminal operations. We are seeking a skilled Training Specialist who can use their transferrable educational skills as our subject matter expert in staff training and competency management.
Yes it would include regular travel to Avonmouth, Cardiff, Plymouth, Pembroke, Manchester, Dublin, Belfast. It is likely you will travel approximately 50% of the month but you chose when that is.
Training Specialist
Research, develop and deliver technical training materials for the pipeline and terminal operational group.
- Manage relationships and liaise with external regulatory bodies, such as the HSE, EA and NRW and auditors, to ensure compliance and continuous improvement in relation to training and competency.

Minimum Required: Higher Technical Qualification or Degree Level Education in a STEM subject (Physical Science, Technology or Engineering discipline).
- Ideal: Bachelor's Degree in a relevant STEM subject (Physical Science, Technology or Engineering discipline).
Minimum Required: 5 years in a teaching/instruction role, Key Stage 3+.
- A modern, enthusiastic and inclusive approach to teaching practice.
- Ability to turn existing written resources and standards into dynamic and interesting training sessions.
- Familiarity with the Risk Assessment process in relation to process training.
- Able to form good working relationships with a range of staff across UK & Ireland facilities.
