Engineering Shift Manager

As an Engineering Shift Manager you’ll be joining one of the UK’s leading food businesses, supplying products to the country’s major supermarkets and well-known restaurants. You’ll be based at their advanced processing site in Hereford, which has recently experienced significant investment, making it one of the leading manufacturing facilities in the country.
The main function of this role is to lead and manage the ongoing running of the shift, supporting all activities on site by assessing all aspects of maintenance procedures whilst ensuring a safe working environment at all times. Key responsibilities will include management, welfare, training, and development of the relevant Shift Engineers.
We’re looking for someone with a HNC Certification or Advanced Apprenticeship in Engineering . It would also be desirable if you have experience in a leadership role in a similar environment with qualifications such as NEBOSH or IOSH and 17th/18th Edition .
Salary wise the role is on at £46,000 to £56,000 (DOE) plus shift allowance. There’s also 31 days holiday, a generous pension contribution, life assurance and private medical health cover, plus other perks. You’ll be working a 5 week shift pattern, the details of which can be shared during the process.
