Our Client is a medium sized Design & Build Main Contractor. We are recruiting a Fitout Project Manager on their behalf for their Interiors Division. This area of the business specializes in creating innovative and high-quality interior fitout solutions for commercial, residential, and hospitality projects. Job Description: As a Fitout PM, you will play a key role in overseeing the successful delivery of interior fitout projects from inception to completion. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of the project, including coordination with clients, design teams, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure projects are delivered to the highest standards, on schedule, and within budget. Key Responsibilities: 1. Project Planning and Coordination:

  • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets.
  • Coordinate with design teams, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure project requirements are met.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and address any issues that may arise.
2. Client Management:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Manage client expectations and ensure clear communication regarding project milestones, timelines, and budget.
3. Budget Management:
  • Monitor project costs and expenditures to ensure adherence to budgetary constraints.
  • Identify potential cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
4. Quality Assurance:
  • Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure workmanship meets company standards and client expectations.
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify and resolve any quality issues promptly.
5. Risk Management:
  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project disruptions.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
6. Team Leadership:
  • Lead and motivate project teams to achieve project objectives.
  • Provide guidance and support to team members and subcontractors as needed.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or related field.
  • Proven experience in project management, preferably in interior fitout or construction industry.
  • Strong understanding of construction methodologies, building codes, and regulations.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
  • Proficiency in project management software and MS Office suite.
  • PMP or Prince2 certification is a plus
