Junior QA Tester, Oxford, Hybrid 2/3 days a week in office, Up to £25,000

Note: this role do not offer sponsorship

Are you passionate about ensuring quality in software development? We are currently seeking a Junior QA Tester to join a dynamic and growing team in Oxford working closely within the team of product and developer specialists.

As a Junior QA Tester, you will be responsible for testing software applications, identifying bugs and issues, and helping to ensure that our products meet high-quality standards. You will work closely with developers and other team members to ensure that all aspects of our software are thoroughly tested and ready for release.

Responsibilites

  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains within the QA, application support, and product operations functions Training and Development
  • Provide training and support to team members to enhance their skills and knowledge in QA practices and application support management Cross-functional Collaboration
  • Work closely with other teams such as development, product management, and customer support to ensure alignment and collaboration on product quality and support issues Vendor Management
  • Manage relationships with third-party vendors and service providers to ensure quality service delivery and support for the product
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks related to product quality and support operations, ensuring minimal impact on customers and business operations.

The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and a solid understanding of QA testing processes. Some experience with software testing tools and methodologies is preferred, but training will be provided for the right candidate.
