We provide comprehensive multi-disciplinary services and work closely with local specialist mental health teams, tertiary service providers, primary care, local statutory and non-statutory agencies, service users and carers.


We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic mental health nurse and who has a strong sense of initiative and an excellent team working ability.


You will be based at Albion Place in Maidstone, but will be expected to travel across the Trust if required.
A Community Mental Health Nurse is a key staff member within the multidisciplinary care team and will have continuing responsibility to assess, plan, coordinate, deliver and evaluate care, communicate findings,influence and drive change and promote health and best practice, patient safety and experience. The Mental Health Nurse will be professionally accountable to the Executive Director of Nursing and operationallyaccountable to the Operational Team Manager.


You will be able to demonstrate knowledge of high level interventions & community assessment skills. Existing qualifications or a willingness to undertake training relevant to the post is expected.

Registered Mental Health Nurse or Occupational Therapist


Practice Assessor training


Previous experience of working in a community team
Clinical assessment of physical, psychological and social care
