We have an exciting opportunity to join our Trust as General Manager - Plastics, Burns and Trauma Directorate (8C). Reporting to the Clinical Director for Plastics, Burns, and Trauma.
We are looking to speak with motivated, compassionate, and resilient leaders with an excellent track record of delivering improvements to RTT and cancer standards. You will bring significant experience in a senior operational role plus evidence of success in developing services that deliver high quality patient care. They will be patient focussed and ensure the delivery of access targets, and that quality improvement and a culture of learning and improvement is embedded within the directorate.
Rated GOOD overall with outstanding care by the CQC. A specialist NHS hospital providing life-changing reconstructive surgery, burns care and rehabilitation services across the South of England and beyond.
We specialise in conditions of the eyes (corneoplastics), hands, head and neck cancer and skin cancer, reconstructive breast surgery, maxillofacial surgery and prosthetics, providing regional and national services in these areas of clinical expertise.In addition, QVH provides a minor injuries unit, expert therapies, a sleep service, and a growing portfolio of community-based services.Patients consistently rate QVH amongst the top hospitals in the country for quality of care.

Educated to degree level or able to demonstrate specialist knowledge within this field through practical experience
Evidence of relevant professional management training and/or qualification
Experience of direct staff management of a large team of staff
Experience of active performance management
Experience of providing services to a high quality with restricted resources
Experience of implementing change management projects to develop or improve services
Experience of implementing change management utilising technologies
Experience of business case preparation, presentation and implementation
Project management experience
