Role Overview

As a Web Product Manager at AE Live, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the Company’s digital offering for various international sports events. This position requires a proactive individual who can navigate the complexities of large-scale projects with finesse and efficiency. You will be at the forefront of ensuring that our web-based solutions not only meet but exceed the dynamic requirements of these events.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Planning and Implementation : Contribute to product strategy and oversee its implementation.
  • Leadership in Product Development : Lead the entire product development lifecycle. Ensure that the product roadmap aligns with project goals and facilitate timely and high-quality deliverables.
  • Cross-Functional Liaison : Act as the primary point of contact between various internal teams (projects, commercial, development, and support) and external partners. Foster strong relationships to facilitate effective collaboration.
  • Service Delivery Coordination : Oversee the coordination among different departments to guarantee smooth and efficient delivery of services. Troubleshoot and resolve with relevant managers any cross-departmental issues that may arise.
  • Feedback Integration : Actively solicit, analyse, and incorporate feedback from users and stakeholders to continuously enhance the product’s quality and user experience.
  • Documentation : Oversee and contribute to the preparation of key documentation and ensure its accessibility.
  • Reporting : Create weekly management reports and participate in management meetings.
  • Resource and Timeline Management : Manage resources judiciously and oversee project timelines. Ensure that all deliverables are met within the stipulated deadlines without compromising on quality.

Key Relationships

Interaction with Product Owner, Project Managers, Commercial Managers, Development Managers, and various technical teams will be critical.

Candidate Requirements

  • Degree in Business, Computer Science, or a closely related field. Alternatively, candidates should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in similar roles.
  • Have a robust understanding of web technologies, including front-end and back-end development processes and technologies. Knowledge of cloud-based infrastructure is essential.
  • Demonstrate a genuine passion for sports. This passion is vital as it drives the understanding of our clients’ needs and expectations, making our products not just functional but engaging.
  • Exhibit exceptional organizational skills. The ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail is crucial in this fast-paced environment.
  • Show an ability to thrive under pressure. The nature of managing web solutions for live sports events often involves tight deadlines and rapid changes, requiring a cool head and a problem-solving attitude.
  • Be willing to adapt to varying demands, including the flexibility for travel and weekend work. Our work requires unconventional working hours to ensure seamless execution.
