Job Title: Manual Software Tester

Location: Fully Remote (UK only)

Salary: £32,000

Role Overview:

We are seeking a meticulous and dedicated Manual Tester to ensure the quality and performance of our e-commerce platforms.

You’ll play a key role in identifying and resolving issues by conducting thorough testing of both web and mobile applications.

This is a fully remote position, but you must be based in the UK, as we are unable to offer sponsorship for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute manual testing processes across various applications (web and mobile), ensuring functionality and user experience align with expectations.
  • Collaborate closely with developers, project managers, and the UX/UI team to align testing efforts with project goals.
  • Write, update, and maintain comprehensive test plans and cases based on technical documents and project requirements.
  • Identify, log, and track bugs and issues using structured reporting tools such as JIRA or Bugzilla.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the QA process, ensuring testing strategies evolve with the product development lifecycle.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in manual software testing (minimum 2+ years).
  • Strong understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), Software Testing Lifecycle (STLC), and Agile methodologies.
  • Excellent attention to detail, particularly in identifying and documenting bugs and issues.
  • Ability to write test cases and execute manual tests efficiently.
  • Proficient with bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla).
  • Strong communication skills, particularly in remote collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Preferred:

  • Experience in testing e-commerce platforms is a plus.
