We’re looking for a new Account Manager. To be right for this role, you must be a self-motivated person with a positive disposition. Excellent interpersonal skills are essential.
About us:
Come and work at MB Brand Communications – supporting global brands from our home in Lewes. We work smartly and efficiently to deliver compelling creative solutions with a can-do attitude and a minimum of red tape. We do it all from our beautiful office in the South Downs – just an hour from London by train.
Our clients range from global brands such as American Express, Amazon and Uber to smaller regional and national businesses.
Our work includes marketing planning, tactical campaigns, brand identities, advertising, event space design, internal comms, social, website design and digital marketing support.
We are a friendly team and as we continue to grow, the right candidate will have a significant opportunity to shape their role within the company, as well as getting a rewarding financial package.
We offer flexible working with a minimum of 3 days in the office or with our clients (Mon-Thurs) and an 'everybody from home' policy on a Friday.
Key responsibilities:
• Build strong relationships with clients, keeping consistent contact to ensure that we stay relevant and front of mind
• Knowledgeable and passionate about the businesses and able to demonstrate to clients how we can contribute to the success of their marketing as a whole
• Day-to-day liaison with clients, taking briefs, producing timescales and budgets and managing projects through feedback and amends to completion
• A keen eye for business development and new opportunities to help our clients achieve their goals and ambitions
Person Specification
Who you are
• Skilled at interpreting the requirements from a client brief and able to produce creative briefs that can be understood meaningfully by the creative team to deliver the highest quality response
• Good at evaluating creative work; able to give constructive feedback to ensure that the output is developed to meet the client’s business objectives
• You have a positive, personable, and proactive approach, great at making sure everything happens when and as it should
• Good organisational skills with a keen eye for detail
• You’re an excellent communicator (both written and verbal)
• Sound commercial awareness, helping you understand our client’s needs
• Effective presentation skills and numerically literate
Your experience
• Minimum 2 years Account Management experience
• Direct client service experience
• Proven track record of client success
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite / Google Docs/Sheets/Slides
Something extra
We’re always looking to add new clients to our roster for further growth, and even though your main focus will be managing our existing client base, we do back our team by offering new business commission on newly acquired work.
