Job Title: Static Handyperson Location: Reading Salary: £30,000 per annum Shift Pattern: One week: 6am - 3pm, Following week: 8am - 5pm. Supporting in the on-call rota. Learning and development programs, training, and career opportunities.Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated Static Handy person to join our team based in Reading. As a Static Handy person, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing various aspects of our facilities and equipment. This role requires flexibility in working hours, including participation in an on-call rota. Key Responsibilities: Conduct routine maintenance tasks, such as plumbing, electrical repairs, and carpentry. Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies. Perform inspections to identify and resolve issues proactively. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Keep accurate records of maintenance activities. Liaise with contractors and vendors as needed. Assist with other duties as assigned by management.Requirements: Proven experience as a handy person or similar role. Strong knowledge of building systems and maintenance procedures. Excellent problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
