Based in the East Midlands office three days per week (with flexibility to work remotely the remainder), you'll lead commercial strategy, manage key distributor and customer relationships, and identify new business opportunities across multiple sectors. Working closely with cross-functional teams - including Operations, Finance, and Sales - you'll develop robust growth plans, oversee the customer experience function, and drive transformation initiatives that deliver measurable results. This is a truly varied and influential role that combines commercial leadership with strategic project delivery. You'll also have the opportunity to travel across Europe around six times per year, supporting key customers and driving business development initiatives across multiple markets. REQUIREMENTS: To be considered for the Commercial Manager position, you will ideally have: · Proven success in leading commercial or business development functions within B2B technical sales · Strong experience managing distributors and key accounts across multiple regions (European experience preferred)· A deep understanding of extended supply chains and international operations · Excellent commercial acumen, analytical capability, and communication skills · The ability to lead teams, influence at senior level, and drive cross-functional initiatives · Must be based within a commutable distance to Nottingham, with the ability to work from the office three days per week · Willingness to travel across Europe approximately six times per year PACKAGE FOR COMMERCIAL MANAGER: · Basic salary £50,000 - £65,000 (depending on experience)· 27% bonus · Car allowance · 25 days annual leave · Private healthcare and pension THE COMMERCIAL MANAGER ROLE COVERS: Office-based in the East Midlands (three days per week) with occasional European travel.
