As a respected consultancy and partner to our clients, PDi are often requested to support our clients with appointing key personal to projects in the Oil industry. We have recently been asked by our client who are a major name in the global Oil industry and we are helping them find an experienced Senior Quality Engineer to join their team to take responsibility and ownership of all aspects of Project Quality assurance to this project.

In this role you will ensure the flow of documentation through the creation, review and approval process as per project quality standards

You will have a number of responsibilities and the main ones will be, providing Project Quality Assurance support and supporting management in the interface between the various stakeholders through to project execution delivery, ensuring quality standards are delivered in accordance with requirements

You will take ownership on the coordination of project quality documentation and leadership of project quality meetings (both internal and other stakeholders)

Given your leadership experiences in Quality Engineering, you will manage the inspection activities as per contractor ITPs and crucially oversee the management of bowtie risk assessments

You will utilize your communication skills and liaise with IVB (DNV) and Technical Safety in aligning quality aspects to Performance Standards and review of project quality in alignment with the Project Technical Integrity Verification Plan

You will be responsible for delivering the project quality aims, ensuring that regulatory standards and the required documentation are delivered accordingly, ensuring the efficient progression throughout the project life cycle

Additionally you will participate in meetings as directed by Project Management (weekly, monthly, HAZID / HAZOP, Opportunity Framing, Risk and DG4 Self Assurance Review (SAR4)) and be comfortable with asking questions as well as giving answers.

This role is crucial to our clients success and the delivery of this industry recognized project.
