Responsibilities:

* Identify and target potential clients through strategic prospecting, including cold calling, networking, and lead generation.

* Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in target companies.

* Conduct face-to-face meetings with prospective clients to understand their needs, present our services, and negotiate contracts.

* Collaborate with internal teams to develop customized solutions that meet the unique requirements of each client.

* Achieve and exceed sales targets by effectively managing the sales pipeline and closing deals.

* Stay updated on industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to identify new opportunities for business growth.

* Provide regular reports on sales activities, progress, and forecasts to the management team.

Requirements:

* Proven track record of success in sales, with a focus on B2B sales and business development.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to confidently engage with clients at all levels.

* Strong negotiation and persuasion skills, with a results-driven mindset.

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

* Highly organized with exceptional time management skills and attention to detail.

* Flexibility to travel for face-to-face meetings with clients within the Essex area and occasionally beyond.

* Previous experience in the logistics or courier industry is desirable but not essential.
