Role – SQL Database Developer
Skills – SQL / SSIS / Stored Procedures
Work Pattern – Once per week in the office.
Oscar are just kicking off the search for a SQL Database Developer for a company we have worked with for many years, as part of that work we placed the line manager for this role and know them well. This is a great opportunity to join a company who have a busy data division, with some large projects in the pipelines.
The role is offered on a hybrid basis with 1 day a week in the office (usually a Tuesday), they have plenty of parking. They have an office in a historic building and have tried to keep the history and character in place giving the office space a different feel to most.
This is a traditional SQL Developer position, they have a large SQL Estate which the team are responsible for the upkeep and development of. You will be joining a team of 6-7 people, reporting to the Data Lead who originally joined as a developer but has progressed significantly over the last couple of years.
Use SSIS to perform data transformation and integration tasks.
Performing database housekeeping, such as tuning, indexing, etc.
Have knowledge and oversight to all associated business systems running on each SQL server
Supporting database design, creation, and testing activities
We are looking for good database skills, within a MS Environment. Good programming skills and knowledge of stored procedures is a must.
Reporting Tool – PowerBI / SSRS etc. – SSIS
