SEN LSA (Special Needs Teaching Assistant)
95 to £100 per day PAYE

We are looking for positive and resilient people to join the Starfyn Education Family in a long term, full time, SEN TA role

One of our schools caters for students, aged from 3 to 19 years across multiple campuses. The school support students with social, emotional and mental health needs, focusing on supporting their children and young adults to focus on building towards gaining the qualifications and necessary skill setsS to lead fulfilling lives.
We are looking for staff who want to support vulnerable young people in a safe and secure environment. The school is looking for positive and motivated individuals who have experience working with challenging behaviours and support others with a positive manner. The school is a fast moving, friendly community who value their staff members dedication and commitment to help others lead positive lives.
Employment Type - Agency (Either long term Temporary or Temporary - Permanent).
Days Required - Monday to Friday from 8.30am to 4pm (Full time).
Pay - £95 to £100 per day PAYE (Dependant on experience).

To be considered for the role, the desirable candidate will have previous experience of working within a similar School, College or Provision. Youth Work experience.
Mental Health Support Work experience.
Social work experience or qualifications.
Psychology degrees recently graduated also accepted.
Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualifications or above preferred, but not necessary.
Offer support for the school’s students before, during and after their lessons.
Help promote each student’s love of learning.
When required, support individual’s needs, including assisting with a wide range of medical and occasionally, personal care tasks and physical support where needed (Training will be provided in giving medical care and support).
Inspiring and engaging with children with a wide range of additional learning needs.
Assisting with the personal care needs of pupils, which may include feeding, changing and manual handling (TRAINING WILL BE PROVIDED BY THE SCHOOL).
Therefore, you will not be paid during the school holidays.
