Year after year, London's Pride celebrations bring people together in amazing ways. The connections and community we build lay the groundwork for a brighter, more inclusive future. Now's your opportunity to play a meaningful part as a Pride in London volunteer.

Pride in London is embracing a renewed sense of purpose that resonates with everyone. We stand as a beacon to highlight ongoing challenges within the LGBTQ+ community, even amidst progress. Our roots intertwine the protest origins of Pride with the spirit of celebration. Our guiding values – Visibility, Unity, and Equality – drive every step we take.

Our incredible team is a blend of passionate staff and volunteers who champion diversity, inclusivity, and understanding. We hail from diverse walks of life, forming a vibrant community of change-makers. Our ultimate goal? To amplify awareness of LGBTQ+ matters and advocate for the rights that ensure equal lives for all.

With a diverse and dedicated year-round team of around 150 volunteers, we orchestrate Pride in London, the incredible event that unites us all. Your unique voice can contribute to the symphony

Your Role

This is an exciting volunteer opportunity with responsibility for our core fundraising activity. We are at an exciting stage of our organisational development, and we have a unique opportunity for a committed and passionate individual to join our ambitious and friendly team to help drive the organisation forward.

Reporting into the Director of Partnerships & Growth, this role plays an integral part in the success of Pride in London's ambitious fundraising plans.

Your Responsibilities
  1. Contribute to the development and implementation of the fundraising strategy, translating the strategy into action plans.
  2. Inspire and mobilise your team to deliver on income goals.
  3. Forge strong partnerships with corporate sponsors, grantmakers, and individual donors.
  4. Identify untapped income streams and expand our funding portfolio.
  5. Report on progress and communicate wins across the organisation.

What You'll Bring to Pride in London:

  1. Strategic, creative mindset with the ability to unlock the potential to grow vital revenue streams.
  2. Experience in representing an organisation to key supporters, funders, and stakeholders.
  3. Experience in more than one fundraising area such as individual giving, trusts and grants, corporates, major donors, legacies, community, and events.
  4. Strong communicator with experience in relationship building.
