Straight Forward Recruitment are delighted to be working with our client, who require a Warehouse Manager. For their well respected Brewery facility.
As a Brewery Warehouse Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the brewery's daily operations.
This position involves handling, organizing, and managing inventory, ensuring the smooth flow of materials, and contributing to the overall efficiency of our production process.
This is a Permanent full-time role and will also require supporting the distribution of their products, by providing relief Van Driver cover when required.
Team Leadership: Manage a team of draymen providing guidance, training, and support to ensure the team's success .
Inventory Management : Implement and maintain effective inventory control procedures, conduct regular stock assessments, and optimize warehouse space utilization.
Streamline warehouse processes to enhance overall efficiency, including order fulfilment, material handling, and shipment coordination.
Quality Control : Enforce and uphold quality control measures to ensure that all materials and products meet the brewery's standards.
Vendor Relations: Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to manage deliveries, resolve discrepancies, and maintain positive working relationship.
The ability to step in as a relief driver for the dray is considered an additional qualification.
Proven experience in warehouse management, preferably in a brewery or beverage production environment.
Knowledge of inventory management systems and best practices.
Familiarity with health and safety regulations and compliance in the context of brewery deliveries.
Forklift certification is required.
