We are seeking a talented and passionate Junior Sous Chef to join our culinary team at Social Eating House. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in culinary techniques, a creative flair for crafting innovative dishes, and a dedication to upholding the highest standards of quality and consistency. Under the guidance of our experienced chefs, the Junior Sous Chef will play a pivotal role in contributing to the development and execution of our seasonal menus, ensuring that each dish reflects our commitment to excellence and exceeds our guests' expectations.
Execute food preparation tasks with precision and efficiency, ensuring that all dishes are prepared to the highest standard and in accordance with established recipes and procedures.
Maintain strict quality control measures throughout the food production process, including monitoring ingredient freshness, portion sizes, and presentation standards to uphold the restaurant's reputation for excellence.
Lead by example and inspire junior kitchen staff to excel in their roles, providing guidance, training, and support as needed to foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
Assist in the day-to-day operations of the kitchen, including inventory management, equipment maintenance, and adherence to health and safety regulations, to ensure smooth and efficient service.
Proven experience as a Junior Sous Chef or equivalent role in a reputable restaurant.
Strong culinary skills and a passion for food innovation, with a keen eye for detail and presentation.
