We are seeking an accomplished 5G Packet Core & Transmission Engineer with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience to join our innovative team. The ideal candidate should possess a degree in Engineering from a reputable university and demonstrate a strong background in 5G Packet Core & Transmission. Location: Hybrid (mostly remote working)
Experience: 10 Years on mobile core NW and transmission

Job Description: Desired Profile & Job Knowledge:

Engineering Graduate in Telecommunication with relevant experience in Packet core Domain (NW deployment and delivery).
Must have 5 to 10 years of experience in packet core deployment.
Complete understanding of telecom Delivery process.

Skills & Knowledge:

Good understanding of End to End 5G and 4G network architecture, interfaces, dimensioning, use cases & call flows.
Good understanding of 5GC features & 3GPP specs.
Thorough knowledge of 5GC packet core architecture (AMF/SMF/UPF/NSSF/NRF, NEF, AUSF, UDM, UDR, SEPP) and functionality.
Knowledge of Public/ Private/ Hybrid Cloud & Containerization (Experience on AWS cloud will be a plus).
4G/5G Packet core network deployment under a cloud environment.
Lead discussions and support vendors.
Understanding of Linux command line is preferred.
Experience in leading Demo/PoC will be preferable.
High-level service knowhow will be an add-on.

Soft Skills:

Analytical skills, logical thinking, problem-solving & handling timely assignments are mandatory.
Good presentation and communication skills.
Good understanding of Excel & PowerPoint features.
Fast self-learning ability in different technologies. Able to work in new technologies and products.
Team player, discipline and organization skill, quick learner, flexible.

Responsibilities (High Level):

Responsible for planning & validating core NW system.
Discuss and work with different members of the vendor in project status & help different vendors to resolve the issue.
Prepare the ATP test cases.
Work and lead Demo/PoC with vendors (Core NW, Transmission, and Application vendor).
Interact with the delivery team and provide regular updates & ensure solution delivery as per plan.
