We also influence policy and create systemic change.
Alongside this, the treasurer’s role is to maintain an overview of Unlock’s finances, ensure our financial viability and to ensure proper financial records and procedures are maintained.
Financial qualifications and experience.
Understanding and acceptance of the legal duties, responsibilities and liabilities of trusteeship.
The skills to analyse proposals and examine their financial consequences.
Willingness to be available to staff for advice on an ad hoc basis, with “hands on” involvement where necessary.
While experience in charity finance is desirable, we are happy to train and support a successful candidate without this previous experience. We’re committed to increasing diversity across the organisation, including our board of trustees.
