Electrical Fitter To undertake diagnostic fault finding and installation on vehicles to a consistently high standard. Main Responsibilities:

  • To carry out diagnostic fault finding on vehicles.
  • To fit racking, on board power and other auxiliary equipment as instructed.
  • To complete installations on vehicles to a consistently high standard.
  • Follow all instructions including technical instructions exactly.
  • To work in accordance with health and safety regulations at all times.
  • To attend training as required.
  • To become multi skilled and assist in other areas as and when requested.
  • To have a fully equipped tool kit at all times
  • Any other reasonable request that may or may not be directly related to the job role as indicated above.
Knowledge and Experience * Three years electrical experience and/or a formal electrical qualification is essential for this job as are excellent problem solving skills Circumstances
  • The ability to lift heavy objects on a regular basis and dexterousness are essential to this role.
  • This majority of this job role requires the identification of colour. It is an essential criterion for the job that the job holder is able to identify colour; this is in the interests of the health and safety of the employee and of the customer.
  • The Job Holder must possess a full clean driving license
