This is a fantastic opportunity to join as an Undergraduate Trainee Financial Accountant for your placement year with Saint-Gobain where the focus will be to support our manufacturing clients with their accounting and reporting functions.
As a Trainee Financial Accountant with Saint-Gobain the key responsibilities are:

Prepare and post all accruals and journal entries into SAP as agreed with clients
Reconcile sub-ledgers with General Ledger
Perform the fixed asset accounting, reporting and reconciliation process
Finalise month end inter-company reconciliation processes in liaison with AP, CM and AR team members
Prepare monthly and yearly balance justifications and balance sheet reconciliation files
Populate the group reporting packages with the financial data
Assisting with and supporting internal and external audit visits and requirements; we innovate, we collaborate, we're agile, we act with entrepreneurial spirit, and we're supportive of and close to our customers. To be suitable for the Undergraduate Trainee Financial Accountant role with Saint-Gobain you need to have:

IT literate (knowledge of MS Office tools particularly Excel & Word)
Ability to learn new systems (training will be given for SAP ERP system and in house reporting tool)
