This role will be based on site, primarily in the named location with the opportunity to work remotely available in line with our Adaptive Working Framework .
Please note: applicants already contracted to full-time positions within the University are not permitted to undertake additional contracted hours due to the weekly working time directive.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an associate lecturer to support a range of teaching in the Occupational Therapy Programmes, including pre-registration and post-graduate provision and to support the development of a new Occupational Therapy apprenticeship programme. We are looking for an experienced Occupational Therapist, with a genuine interest in teaching and education to join us, providing the highest quality learner experience.

Preparation of teaching materials required in the delivery of the above
Preparation of Reading Lists and other content
Contribution to assessment and teaching design as appropriate
Attendance at the following Boards/Meetings, where it is appropriate: development / training meetings and events; probation and development review; College Research Committee; College Research Ethics Committee; To comply with the requirements of Health & Safety, other relevant legislation and University documentation
A degree or equivalent qualification in Occupational Therapy
Significant clinical experience of working in Occupational Therapy
Experience of delivering training
Ability to teach at the appropriate level, teaching a variety of learners
Ability to prepare module and teaching resources
An appropriate level of digital capability
Ability to work remotely and/or online or multi-site as needed.
Teaching qualification or equivalent experience

Experience of teaching students in an HE context or similar
