Elevation Recruitment Group is excited to partner with a leading manufacturer in Wakefield to recruit a Head of Engineering. This pivotal role offers the opportunity to oversee all engineering operations, implement efficient processes, and spearhead continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities of the Head of Engineering will include:
Deliver and oversee projects, including machinery installations and process modifications
Coordinate and manage regular and ad hoc engineering contractors and sub-contractors
Oversee the management and optimisation of engineering spares inventory
Plan, organise, and report progress on engineering initiatives
We are keen to speak with Heads of Engineering / Engineering Managers with the following:
Degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering
NEBOSH National General Certificate
Demonstrated experience in an engineering leadership role within a manufacturing environment
Ideally, a background in textiles or plastics manufacturing
Proven track record in project management, particularly machinery installations and process improvements
You’ll have the chance to work on impactful projects and lead a talented team within a supportive and innovative environment.
