Job Title: Manager – Transactions – Power & Utilities
The KPMG Infrastructure Advisory Group function is a cornerstone of our Deal Advisory business. KPMG is one of the world's largest and most respected consultancies. We've supported the UK through times of war and peace, prosperity and recession, political and regulatory upheaval. We are responsible for providing best in class support on everything from: finance, economics, construction, engineering, QS, forensic assurance, asset management, PMO, strategy, regulatory work and project finance.

The Power & Utilities (P&U) space at KPMG is renowned for being the leading advisor in this space. Within IAG it is one of the largest business units with c80 professionals.
The newly developed team started by Luc earlier this year is looking to double its capacity over the new year meaning there is huge career growth potential.
You will be working on some of the largest and most complex Transactions in the Power & Utilities space.
In this exciting team you will gain the opportunity to become an M&A and Power & Utilities subject matter expert with its unique market offering.

Strategic and market analysis for potential acquisitions and corporate actions.
Regulatory due diligence on transactions involving regulated utilities.
Commercial due diligence across Power & Utilities infrastructure assets.
Strategic and other advisory services on transactions including eg cost and performance benchmarking.
Financial modelling, financial and scenarios analysis.
Financial advice, working in conjunction with our M&A practice.

Experience of working on transactions in utilities and infrastructure, either with an M&A or a Consulting background
A good knowledge of utilities and energy sectors in the UK (key market segments) and ability to identify and analyse key value drivers on a particular transaction in the Power & Utilities market.

Ideally you would be from an Investment Banking or M&A Advisory team background within a Big 4/Top 10/Boutique advisor.
