UG/OG Fibre Splicer

We are interested in recruiting experienced fibre splicers with all aspects of fibre installation and telecom network builds on Fibre To The Property (FTTP), traditional underground and overhead.
Fibre Splicing & Testing at various locations.
Must have a positive attitude, self-motivated, conscientious, and able to demonstrate knowledge and experience.
Responsibilities
Prepare, splice, and install small, medium, and large joints for large size cables 48F/96F/72F/144F either underground or overhead.
Use smart phone and emails proficiently as regular communication will be expected to internal and external project teams.
Complete customer site handover document / process proficiently. Photograph completed fibre distribution points both inside the closure and externally showing position on chamber or on pole.
Excellently understand the full Fibre design from implementation perspective, assign tasks to teams, fibre splicing matrix analysis and provide responses to technical experts (internal and external at customer side)
Lead internal and external teams for troubleshooting faults
Perform acceptance testing using OTDR, light source and power meters
Travel would be required to different cities as our project location changes all the time. The company will provide accommodation for the night stay.
Should be flexible and believes in doing right at first place.
Has profound knowledge of this work which should be reflected in his working speed.
Reporting progress daily according to project processes
Reading Network Maps and drawings
Take ownership of work orders and report daily progress
Take proper measures to ensure everyone is safe during work.
Worked with design schematics and works instructions.
Has excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills.
Fibre splicing experience in BT Openreach Network.
Vehicle, Fuel Card, Tools & Accommodation (If required) all provided.

- SA001 - Safety Overhead
- SA002 - Safety Underground
- SA006 - Safe Working in Civils
- K008 - Hand Rodding in the UG Network
- N023 - One Fibre Network FTTP Strategic UG and OH Build
- NOPS Card (Network Operative Passport Scheme)
