Role Summary

The Associate Director of Client Services is responsible for all account management activities within a given account portfolio, including overall P&L delivery, growth, retention, and the nurturing of executive-level relationships.

You will also be a sector lead. This means setting the agenda for and leading the assigned sector to develop, grow and enhance the Optima Health client portfolio. You will collaborate with other areas of the business to deliver in line with specific clinical and operational regulations and client requirements. We are looking for an individual with extensive knowledge of working within or alongside the NHS.

You will be a subject matter expert for the allocated sector, be a ‘go to' person and freely share your knowledge and expertise within the business to ensure all areas are working towards the agreed strategy.

You will have a deep understanding of each client's business, competitive set, and strategic goals to define areas of opportunity and growth, working across the business to gain support for, and deliver, innovation and new service propositions.

This is a senior management position, focused on the implementation and continuous improvement of Optima Health's client strategy.

As part of your duties you will support, coach, mentor and develop a subset of the account management team, sharing your sector strategic vision and agenda and providing leadership and direction as required to deliver on our contractual requirements and enhance our service offering.

You will ensure that all work is of exceptional quality, is results-driven, and delivers on both the Clients' and Optima Health's business objectives.

You will be responsible for the financial performance of the assigned account portfolio and sector and achieve targets in line with company financial parameters.

Who Are We Looking For?

  • Good understanding of health and social care structures, policy, legislation and guidance
  • Demonstrable influencing skills, able to adapt style as required to persuade and gain support of stakeholders
  • Experience in the management of financial performance of a significant account portfolio, including debtor management
  • Detailed knowledge of the Occupational Health & Wellbeing industry and experience of working within or alongside the NHS
  • Experience of coaching, developing and mentoring others
