In your role as Compliance Advisory you will make a meaningful and valued contribution from the outset.
This role will provide a great opportunity to assist with a range of compliance matters, including managing compliance systems, and both Public Markets and Private Markets advisory.
As Compliance Advisory, you will work to Administer Compliance owned policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Building a close working relationship with each of the USSIM business units to support Compliance matters as required.
Working principally with the Head of USSIM Public Markets Compliance Advisory, and Deputy Head of Group Compliance, and other members of the Compliance Team - as required
Tracking industry developments, for example best practices from trade associations and apply and roll these out within USSIM as is relevant at the direction of the Head of USS Group Compliance
Assisting with the provision of ad-hoc advice to the Public, and Private Markets Groups
Supporting ongoing surveillance of the activities of the Public Markets Group in relation to key regulatory processes, including: Thorough knowledge and experience of the UK regulatory framework
Willingness to develop relationships at all levels in delivering pragmatic and proportionate compliance support, monitoring and training solutions within USSIM’s Public and, Private Markets Groups
Good understanding of public market asset classes; Demonstrable experience of Public Markets Compliance. Experience of dealing with the regulatory change agenda, and in particular impact of Public Markets
Working knowledge of Bloomberg and FundApps or other equivalent systems for monitoring Public Markets compliance
