About The Role
We are thrilled to announce the launch of our Oncology Training Academy , a pioneering initiative designed to empower nurses to gain specialized knowledge and skills in cancer care. As the demand for oncology services continues to grow, we recognize the critical role that well-trained nurses play in providing compassionate and effective care to our cancer patients.
Our Training Academy is looking for Nurses who have a passion and interest in enhancing their clinical skills and becoming an Oncology Nurse.
The first cohort will launch September 2024. For this first cohort we are looking for nurses who have venepuncture, cannulation and CVAD skills, living in the London and South East area to join our Training Academy.

Comprehensive Curriculum : Our academy offers a meticulously crafted curriculum that covers a wide spectrum of oncology topics using external and internal subject matter experts to provide you with the theory required to become an Oncology Nurse.
Expert Faculty : Learn from experienced oncology nurses, nurse educators, and renowned oncologists. Our faculty members bring a wealth of experience and a passion for teaching, ensuring that you receive the highest quality education.
6 week classroom Training :
- In-Person Workshops : Engage in hands-on workshops, case studies, and interactive sessions.
Clinical Placements : Gain practical experience through clinical rotations in our partnered NHS Trusts. Work alongside our internal practice Development Nurses who will guide you in real-world patient care scenarios.
Certification : Upon successful completion of the program, you will receive a prestigious certification recognized by healthcare institutions nationwide.

About You
Please note: The interviews will be taking place under an assessment day held in Harlow on June 17th 2024
To be successful in this post you will demonstrate the below:
- Endorsement from line manager
- Venepuncture skills
- CVAD Skills
- Cannulation Skills
- IV Administration Skills
