My client a global communications company, base in the City of London is looking for dedicated Security Risk and Manager, and your mission will be to fortify the organisation's digital bastions, meticulously identifying potential threats and weaknesses.
It would be highly advantageous for the successful Security, Risk Manager to come from an aviation or Airline background and you will be instrumental in conducting thorough risk assessments and deploying effective security measures. Your role will be integral to the maintenance and enhancement of security protocols, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and industry benchmarks.
This role is not just a job; it's a chance to be at the forefront of technological innovation in aviation security, where your contributions will be recognised and valued.
To be considered for this role you will
Have in-depth knowledge of security frameworks, such as NIST, ISO 27001, and PCI DSS Possess proven experience in security risk management & compliance in ISO 27001, GDPR, PCI DSS Have a strong understanding of network security principles and practices Be experienced in conducting risk assessments and threat modelling Be generally proficient in Linux operating systems (e.g., Red Hat, CentOS, Alma, ubuntu) Have familiarity with security technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption techniques Possess professional certifications, such as CISSP, CISA, or CRISC, similar Have experience in the identification and capture of IT functional and non-functional requirements for large, complex project. Collaboration is key; you will work alongside esteemed industry partners, including leading aircraft manufacturers and airlines, representing the technical cutting edge of my client. Your expertise will be pivotal in steering and auditing projects to ensure they meet stringent regulations and are delivered within scope.
The role demands a proactive approach to security risk management, with responsibilities ranging from crafting technical documentation to providing expert advice to various teams. You will be the linchpin in managing network security functions, ensuring compliance, and fostering strong technical partnerships.
To excel in this role, a comprehensive understanding of security frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, and PCI DSS is essential. Your background should reflect a proven track record in security risk management and compliance, with a solid grasp of network security principles. Proficiency in Linux operating systems and familiarity with security technologies are expected, alongside the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
