BusinessIntelligence Engineer with strong SQL is required to join leadinge-commerce organisation within their Media and Entertainments businessunit.
As a BIE, you will own partnering with dataengineering and software engineering teams to drive best-in-classbusiness intelligence solutions at scale. You will work withstructured and unstructured data sources to develop deep businessinsights and architect key business metrics. You will partner withscientists to build forward-looking data experimentation, predictivemodeling, and machine learning algorithms.
The role is crossfunctional and will require working closely with a wide variety ofstakeholders including senior members across engineering, product,business leadership, and economics/data science teams.
• Drive the design, development, andmaintenance of innovative and scalable intelligence solutions acrossthe organization, with the highest standards of analytical rigor anddata integrity.
• Develop domain expertise and drive majorcontributions to our data and research roadmap. Leverage SQL, ETL,Redshift, and other available tools to uncover deep business insights,trends, and opportunities to innovate on behalf our customers.
• Partner with data engineering to build best-in-class dataarchitecture and pipelines to support analytics needs.
•Translate ambiguous business problem statements into actionableanalytical solutions. Manage large scale data requests and projects todefine requirements, manage timelines, and coordinate activities withother involved team members.
• Partner with scientists totranslate business insights and trends into experimentation andtesting, and modeling.
• 5+ years of SQL and experience of analyzing and interpretingdata with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL etc.
• Experience with datavisualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools
•Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines
• Experience in Statistical Analysis packages such as R, SASand Matlab
• Experience using SQL to pull data from a databaseor data warehouse and scripting experience (Python) to process datafor modeling
• Experience with SQL
• Experience in thedata/BI space
Experiencewith AWS solutions such as EC2, DynamoDB, S3, and Redshift
•Experience in data mining, ETL, etc. and using databases in a businessenvironment with large-scale, complex datasets
