Lead DevOps Engineer - AWS, Terraform, Bash, Kubernetes
Crewe - Hybrid 3 days per week
Applause IT are looking for a Lead DevOps Engineer to join a global software house organisation who develop innovative solutions for our clients aimed at providing top-tier sustainable mobility, connectivity, and technology services. The Lead DevOps Engineer assumes a crucial role within the organization. The infrastructure team is responsible for deploying, overseeing, and administering the IT Infrastructure necessary to support Radius' applications, services, and end users. As a member of this team, the individual will have a significant impact on supporting, maintaining, and improving the IT environments of the group.
The ideal Lead DevOps Engineer will have:
Extensive expertise in AWS Services such as EC2, ECS, EKS, Lambda, VPC, Route53, S3, RDS, and CloudWatch.
Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code, particularly with Terraform and AWS CloudFormation.
Strong scripting skills in Python and Bash.
Thorough understanding of Linux and database technologies, including Ubuntu, Apache, PHP, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Nginx, Mercurial, and Git.
Proven track record in planning and executing system integrations and cloud migrations.
Experience working in multidisciplinary teams, specializing in AWS and Linux technologies.
Collaboration with software development teams to support and advise on best practices for maintaining performance and availability.
Understanding of Service Management disciplines, preferably with experience in the ITIL framework.
