Job Title: Family Support Worker

Job Type: Full-Time/Part-Time

At Prospero Health and Social we provide compassionate support and care services for children facing challenging circumstances. Our mission is to ensure that every child we support receives the assistance they need to lead healthy, happy, and fulfilling lives. As we expand our team, we are seeking empathetic and motivated Support Workers to join us in making a positive impact.

As a Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in our team, directly assisting children and young people in various settings to provide emotional and practical support. Direct Support: Offer emotional support, guidance, and practical assistance to children and young people in need.
Individualised Care: Implement care plans tailored to the specific needs and goals of each child.
Safety and Well-being: Ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times.
Communication: Maintain open and effective communication with children, their families, and other professionals involved in their care.
Behavioural Support: Assist children in developing positive behaviour and coping strategies.
Life Skills: Support children in acquiring essential life skills, such as cooking, cleaning, and personal hygiene.
Preferably a level 3 in Health and Social Care
· Experience working with children or young people in a support or care role.
· Empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to make a positive impact on children's lives.
· Ability to work as part of a team and adapt to the changing needs of the children.
