My client is a leading consultancy specializing in building surveying and project management. Job Description:

They are seeking a talented and motivated Graduate Building Surveyor with 3-4 years of experience to join the team. As a key member of the consultancy, you will be working alongside and supporting the senior surveyors who will be responsible for managing projects, conducting building surveys, and providing commercial and Dilapidation (Delap) advice. You will work closely with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct building surveys, including Condition Surveys, Defect Analysis, and Dilapidation Reports. Manage projects from inception to completion, ensuring all aspects are delivered according to client requirements and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide expert advice on building and commercial matters.
  • Prepare detailed reports and documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
  • Coordinate with contractors and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Keep up-to-date with industry developments, regulations, and best practices.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Building Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • 3-4 years of experience in building surveying, with experience in commercial and Delap projects.
  • Strong project management skills, with a proven track record of successfully managing projects.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of relevant building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
