My client is looking for a Geography Teacher to work at a School around the Newbury area. This is a Permanent Position to start in September 2024 and they are considering candidates looking for Full-time or Part-time work (3 or 4 days per week). This role will be teaching both KS3 & GCSE classes.

Salary: MPS/UPS + Potential to be a KS4 Leader with TLR 2a £3214.00

To be considered YOU MUST HAVE:
• Recent experience working as a Geography Teacher at a Secondary School
• A Relevant Teaching Qualification
• Experience of teaching KS3 & GCSE classes
• A current Enhanced DBS certificate

Job Specific Requirements
• Ability to teach the full range of timetabled courses in the subject area
• Experience in the subject area, and of planning and assessment of pupil learning
• A knowledge of current issues and developments in curriculum Experience of curriculum development
• Ability to communicate effectively and appropriately with staff, pupils and parents
• Ability to effectively manage the learning and teaching of individual pupils, groups and classes
• Ability to prioritise the work of the subject department Proven organisational skills
• Ability to use appropriate interpersonal skills when relating to staff, pupils and parents.
