Applications are invited from experts who can lead the research in FinTech and its cross-disciplinary application. The team is keen to find someone who can inspire the next generation of FinTech researchers and business leaders.

Qualifications

In addition to being a recognised and respected researcher, with a proven track-record in FinTech, the ideal candidate will be able to communicate these ideas and propositions to diverse audiences inside and outside the university. They will be able to work with organisations of all sizes across the Greater Manchester region and further afield as well as working in cross-disciplinary collaborations across the University.

FinTech is an emerging area of focus within the Business School as well as an important area of thinking and application in the Greater Manchester city-region. As we deliver our Innovation Strategy, we are seeking to develop our research power and we’d like you to work with us to develop colleagues, build wider networks and consciously deliver impact.

You will have the chance to match the scope and ambition of Salford Business School, taking a leading role on decisions critical to the continued intellectual and research success of the school.

To be successful in this position you will need to demonstrate:

  • your ability to work and communicate effectively with a range of audiences
  • a proven record of publishing, bidding and impact in the area of FinTech
  • a strong knowledge of the multiple dimensions and challenges of FinTech
  • your impact achieved through previous projects and outputs
